NAMASTE AT MY DESK: 8 YOGA POSES YOU CAN DO FROM YOUR DESK
Monday, April 27 - Video Session @ 1:05PM - 1:10PM EST | Webinar Session @ 2:10PM - 2:30PM EST

My Yoga passion has built steadily since 2009. I can attest that the practice has improved all facets of my life. I've experienced recognizable growth physically, mentally, and spiritually. As a dedicated wife and a mother of three beautiful young men, before beginning my practice, I'd arrived in a place that's familiar to many women like me. I'd found it difficult, if not irrelevant to carve out what I've come to discover as very necessary time and space that's dedicated primarily to serving and nurturing "me". As I'm sure many will agree, if we are not committed to building and tending to our whole selves, we are not equipped to offer this universe our best selves.
For these reasons, I have dedicated my life to this practice daily, and have developed a burning passion, which motivated me to introduce and share the benefits of yoga with as many souls as I can. I look forward to sharing these merits, and all of the positivity that this practice offers with YOU from the moment you enter our judgment-free studio.
Yoga has a clever way of short circuiting the mental patterns that allow external chaos to intrude internal peace, and create anxiety.

NEW BEGININGS AND ENDINGS: THE MINDSET SHIFT
Monday, April 27 - Webinar Session @ 1:40PM - 2:10PM EST

Founder and CEO of The Ladipo Group, LLC, Tonya Ladipo, LCSW, is the visionary behind the region’s only counseling and consulting practice specializing in serving Black and African-American communities.

Tonya worked for many years in community mental health agencies. She saw that a one-size-fits-all approach often ignored the needs of Black and African-American people. Institutionalized racism, a lack of diversity, and a failure of cultural awareness all conspired to mean that people of color often received poor treatment.

She works with an incredible team of skilled counselors, therapists, and psychologists who have an expertise in working with the Black and African-American communities.
Additionally, The Ladipo Group expanded to consult with companies and organizations to retain recognize and address unconscious bias and diverse talent by creating a truly welcoming and inclusive workplace for everyone.

As an engaging speaker on diversity and women’s self-care and wellness Tonya was the keynote speaker at the Philadelphia Works’ Workforce Development Conference in 2017, as well as the keynote speaker for Villanova University’s Women of Color luncheon in May 2015. She spoke at the Black Women Talk Tech conference in 2018. In 2015 she was also awarded the Advena World Most Outstanding Speaker award.

Tonya is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program (April 2016) and Widener University’s Clinical Social Work Master’s degree program (May 2004).

When not working, Tonya is laughing with her husband and identical twin daughters, taking walks alone, and spending time with friends.
